#204. The Best Camp for Bowhunting Caribou
At "BOW CAMP", You Get 1 Extra Day for Hunting Caribou
One extra day, that's what you get when booking a caribou hunt with BOWHUNTING Canada. We want to push the odds a little more in your favor and give you more time to hunt. Bowhunting being what it is, one extra day can make a big difference. After all, this caribou hunt is the first arctic country experience for most of our archers, and we know that you will appreciate that extra time in the Ungava. For the next season, you can take more time to go after bigger bulls, plus you will be able to do more fishing and small game hunting.
More On-Site Hunting Support
Caribou land is unlimited and one can go for hours, days and even weeks without seeing another human being. Let's face it: even the most experienced outdoors man may feel slightly intimidated by this expansive country! In order to tame it a bit, we have equipped our bow-camp with several sets of 2way portable radios 1 set for each team of two bow hunters. With these radios, our archers can remain in contact with each other and the guide, and be informed of the latest caribou movements immediately. Ultimately, your security is important to us and these radios are very helpful should one require assistance.
More Comfort in Camp
You will be able to enjoy some additional facilities at our camp such as a daily radio contact with our bas in Schefferville, many of our hunters are concerned about their families and appreciate the ability to make contact while in the arctic. We also have a portable shower, a target for warming-up, pack frames so you don't have to bring your own. We also provide a good saw and meat boxes to make processing and transportation of your game easier.

An Archery-Only Camp Focused on Success
This hunting camp gives our archers the best chance to tag their caribou by hunting right where they are. This camp can be moved during the season, depending on where the erratic caribou are. We are able to choose from several potential sites located on the major migrating trails. We pick the most promising camp site according to the following information: hunting results of the preceding group, hunting success of the other camps, satellite reports of the migration, sightseeing and other observations.
